Deodorant

This might be an item you’ve switched already. Regardless of your clean deodorant status, there’s a clean deodorant version out there for everybody. 

We’ll be honest, this particular product has a bit of a process and a patience requirement that comes with it. It’s not quite as simple as the body lotion and body wash swaps. During your clean deodorant swap, your body will be detoxing the old chemicals out of your sweat glands. So, you might find yourself to be more sweaty and have some irritation for a week or so. But! It’ll pass as your body adjusts to its new clean deodorant friend, and there will be minimal harmful chemicals absorbed daily! That’s a win.

Shampoo & Conditioners  

The truly “clean” shampoos and conditioners are tougher to find at the typical accessible stores. So, we’re going to list a cleaner mainstream version available at your local Target, as well as a version you can find online that is cleaner. Both places are a great place to start! Make a choice that will fit wherever you are within your clean personal care product journey!

We’ll be honest, just like the deodorant, your body might go through a transition period to get used to the cleaner ingredients. As your hair starts to strip the harsh chemicals out of your scalp and hair, the texture might feel a little funky for a few days or a week depending on your hair washing routine.

This one is hard. Dry shampoos are crucial for us gals and some of the chemical-free versions are aerosol-free. But don’t worry, hunny! We’ve tried sooo many brands in this area and have found the best ones.

• This one is in an aerosol, which is a nice option if you’re really missing that feature from the standard dry shampoo versions.
